In 2010-2011 Hasbro hired my company Kunoichi to produce two episodes of new My Little Pony entertainment, direct to DVD. My Little Pony Newborn Cuties is a relic of the Flash animation era, but I have a soft spot for the project since it landed me my first IMDB.com credit. These two episodes were the only ever produced and Hasbro subsequently completely revamped the brand into the incredible My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. As producer, writer and impromptu storyboard artist, these shorts were a lot of fun to make...even if they're cringeworthy by today's standards.
